I'm less bothered by it because multiplayer only games are focused on the different interactions that can happen in those realms. On the other, the landscape has changed every 5 years or so, sometimes in drastic ways, to where a game that is solely focused on being a product of its players, once the players disappear, it's dead anyway. On the one hand, it sucks to see something become entirely unplayable. It may not be a big deal at the moment, when you are having a good time but eventually will not be playable as intended.Дoes this bother anyone? Will this eventually kill gaming? Games are moving to 'games as a service', online-only and are released incomplete.

The game won't exist as it it eventually became with the patched version. The other problem is, even if you had a disc of a single player game and wanted to play it 10 years from now, it may be broken as there are dozens of patches that may not be able to be installed. Sure, PC's have had evolving MMO's for decades like World of Warcraft and Everquest (among hundreds of others) in addition to MOBA's like League of Legends and DOTA 2 and those too will be lost to time. Games like TitanFall, Destiny, Evolve, Overwatch and soon COD will not exist in the near future as they are multiplayer, online-only games.

But more and more games are ditching single player, offline campaigns for online only. Now, some games like TitanFall 2 and Battlefield One added small campaigns that will ensure that the games will exist in some form when the online servers shut down.

With the increasing number of console games that are online only, there seems to be a greater chance that these games will be lost to time when the servers shut down.
